From July 21, many highlights from the Brandhorst Collection can be seen on two floors – featuring artists such as Andy Warhol, Louise Lawler, Cy Twombly and many more.

About the exhibition
Europe’s largest collection of works by Andy Warhol, and internationally unique pieces by Cy Twombly – these are the cornerstones of the Brandhorst Collection. Currently, works by these two artists, alongside many other highlights, can be seen on the basement floor and upper floor of the museum – by Louise Lawler, Cady Noland, Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Seth Price and many more. This means that part of the anniversary exhibition “Forever Young” will continue to be accessible, providing an insight into the acquisition activity of recent years.
With more than 1,200 works, the Brandhorst Collection spans the period from the late 1950s to the present day. As well as unique work collections by Andy Warhol and Cy Twombly, an additional focus is on the artists of the neo-avant-garde and the post-modern era, as well as international contemporary painting.
